Charlene brings a unique blend of professional expertise, personal experience, and heartfelt dedication to Carrying Hope. With a strong background in business, mentorship, and law enforcement, she leads with integrity, empathy, and a deep commitment to serving others.

Charlene is a two time surrogate, having supported international intended parents in welcoming their daughter in 2018 and helping a Tennessee couple welcome their son in 2020. Her own path to motherhood included a traumatic loss and emergency surgery which resulted in years of fertility and family building struggles. This experience has given her a profound understanding of the emotional weight and complexity that often accompany family building decisions. Her lived experience allows her to connect with both intended parents and surrogates in a meaningful, grounded way. She knows the joy, the vulnerability, and the courage this journey requires, and she is honored to walk beside every person who chooses Carrying Hope.
